Have you ever wished you could visit all of the countries of the world in one day?
Would the day when you see the unbelievable treasures of different countries be the best day in your life? If your answer to this question is “yes,” you should visit the Shanghai Expo 2010.
The Shanghai Expo started on May 1 and will go on until October 31. The main theme is “collecting global wisdom, jointly creating cities’ future.”
You can walk around the pavilions of 200 countries from all over the world. These countries will show you their culture and peculiarities which make them different and unique.
The expo includes five zones. All the pavilions are extremely interesting and display something creative. You can spend hours there and not get bored at all. For instance, you can see the miniature of the future City of the World on the Armenia Pavilion (Zone C). The Norway Eco Pavilion (Zone C) also looks wonderful with its extraordinary roof that can collect solar energy. Due to this the whole pavilion is self-sufficient.
In addition to the pavilions, presenting amazing and unique cultures of different countries, you will also see the theme pavilions, which are definitely going to challenge your imagination and provide you with an unforgettable experience. The theme pavilions include the Urbanian Pavilion, the Pavilion of City Being, the Pavilion of Urban Planet, the Pavilion of Footprint and the Pavilion of Future.
These pavilions show the evolution of the city, which is presented as a living organism, in its interaction with the people who live in it and make it go towards its future.
There is also a great number of performances each day, so make sure you check the list before visiting the expo. You can get a ticket for a single day, but most likely you won’t be able to visit most of the pavilions and attend the performances and concerts in that short period of time. You can get a three-day-admission or a seven-day-admission ticket to have enough time to visit most of the pavilions.
If you are an active global traveler, there’s no doubt you’re going to have a lot of fun and spend a wonderful time wandering through the breathtaking designs and performances at the Shanghai Expo.
