My Honeymoon On the Caribbean Islands
Are you planning a honeymoon? Are you searching for a romantic destination where you can spend it? Then you should visit the Caribbean islands. Caribbean honeymoons can prove to be ideal for honeymooners.
Last year my husband and I set off to one of the Caribbean islands, nameed St. Lucia, for our honeymoon trip. St. Lucia is alternatively referred to as “the Helen of the West Indies.”
On St. Lucia we got involved in various romantic activities. We took helicopter tours, rode a horse, biked and hiked. We also chartered a yacht for a day cruise as well as an evening sail. We played a round of golf, tennis (available at the St. Lucian Hotel) and squash (available near the Cap Estate Golf Club, the St. Lucia Yacht Club and at the St. Lucia Racquet Club). My husband and I also didn’t miss the opportunity to windsurf, dive and water-ski.
Banana and coconut plantations, plantation houses, which have been converted to small hotels and inns, delicious cuisine, palm fringed beaches, steel band music and friendly islanders make St. Lucia a perfect place for honeymoon trips.
We stayed at Sandals Resort on St. Lucia. We took advantage of all the amenities and services available there. The program even covered day trips in minibuses.
We also visited other Caribbean islands, namely Grenada, Martinique, Dominica, Antigua and Anguilla which are also ideal honeymoon destinations.

The Caribbean is a great honeymoon destination. the people are so wonderful there and, as you explain, there are lots of activities to do. st. lucia is great, but i think antigua is my favorite. we also traveled around while we were there saw the other islands. it’s a really fun adventure even if you’re not on your honeymoon.
