It is only good business to do so because anything less means we run the risk of destroying the very thing that will sustain us,”

During his speech Wallace also stressed out one of the main purposes of sustainable tourism.

“The more we learn the more we have to learn and thus even though tourism has the potential to raise environmental awareness and protection, it can be view as undermining the very assets upon which its depends,”

Both regional and international tourism specialist, government ministers and different cultural experts from environmental and academic spheres took part in the conference in order to sort out the problems of sustainable tourism development.
