Therefore, it’s very important to make the right decision for our destination. Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain, and one of the greatest cities in the world, opens its doors to welcome you.

Today, Barcelona is a hub of tourism and can provide you with everything you need to satisfy your expectations and to realize your wishes for a perfect vacation. This city won’t let you feel bored and you will leave Barcelona satisfied, joyful and refreshed.

However short your stay is, and even if you are in Barcelona on business, you will surely manage to see at least one of the works of the famous Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudi, as his works are all over the streets of Barcelona. These buildings stand out, with their unique design next to the older buildings of Barcelona. Among the most famous works of Antoni Gaudi are Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Casa Vicens, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila and others.

Sagrada Familia, which is otherwise called the Temple of the Holy Family, is perhaps the most famous sight in Barcelona. The architect of the church, Antoni Gaudi, is actually buried here. It was still being constructed when Antoni Gaudi died. The construction of the church, which began at the end of the 19th century, is still in process of being finished, with a projected completion date of 2025. Both the exterior and the interior of the building are very impressive.

Parc Guell was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. The constructions began when Count Eusebi Guell, a Catalan patriarch, bought a landscape and hired Gaudi with the intention to make it a district for the rich. The plan was not carried out and now it is a public park, named after Count Eusebi Guell. There are a lot of interesting things to see in this park, both for children and adults.

Among other sights, which are worth visiting are Las Ramblas, the Salvador Dali museum, Santa Maria del Mar and many others.

Las Ramblas is a very popular street in Barcelona. There are different shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, and theaters in Las Ramblas. You may also come across outdoor performances. A monument to the famous navigator and explorer Christopher Columbus is located in Las Ramblas. “The only street in the world which I wish would never end,” said Spanish poet Federico García Lorca about Las Ramblas.

One of the outstanding personalities of Spain is the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Anyone, who is more or less interested in art, will surely find time to visit the Salvador Dali Museum, located in the house of Figueres.

Therefore, Barcelona is one of the cities in the world, which are really worth visiting and besides the above mentioned sights, you’ll surely find other beautiful and interesting places to explore.
