Travel To Boston – Fun And Exciting

Travel In Boston - Funny And InterestingIf you have decided to visit the United States, or are traveling within, and don’t know which city to visit first, I would advise you to travel to Boston, because there is something new to discover. Keep reading to find out about one of the hottest new trends in Boston tours.

CNN.com reports that a new high-speed boat is now ready to take you from the harbor into the Atlantic. Codzilla is the name of this trill-ride. Among Boston harbor cruises, a 40-minute cruise in Codzilla could be the most exciting, because of its high-speeds (up to 40 miles/hour), high energy (loud music is played during the tour to get you even more pumped up), and powerful 2,800 horsepower twin-turbocharged diesel engines.

Codzilla’s name is tied to a historical event. Codzilla was a mighty Cod, that was made infamous by his demise while leading his fellow cod to victory during the Cod War. The boat is “a little bit” more nervous than ordinary boats, it chills and thrills with “death-defying” turns as it zips through the waves. Codzilla seats, or maybe “eats” up to 135 people, so reservation are recommended. All kidding put aside, this is one of the most exciting water tours out there and will definitely interest the young (or young at heart) thrill seekers.

So, if you are a risk taker and fond of roller coaster, Codzilla, the “water coaster”, could be the perfect amusement for you. But don’t forget that you’ll have to be tied down with seat belts, if you don’t want to be swallowed up by the ocean waves. Exciting! Very exciting!

If you would prefer a bit of a milder boat ride with some historical content as well, you can take Boston’s famous Duck Tours. The vehicles used during the tour are amphibious landing vehicles from World War II! Upon boarding on the Duck Tour, you’ll be greeted by one of its ConDUCKtors, who’ll be the narrator of the cruise. The tour will take you through historic downtown Boston. Later, the bus will become a sea-going vessel and will take you on a short cruise the harbor. A great way to see the best of both worlds, and quite exciting too.

Another way to explore historic Boston is by visiting the Public Garden and taking a 20-minute peaceful boat tour. On CNN.com we learn of its origins. Operator and owner Lyn Paget’s great-grandfather got the idea of the first boat from the Opera Lohengrin, where, according to a legend, “a prince rescues his princess in a boat drawn by a swan”. Paget calls this tour “magical”, because the world changes constantly, but Swan Boats never do.

So, when traveling in the US, don’t forget to pass through Boston, where you can find thrills, excitement and a bit of history as well. Great for family vacations and college road trips, we highly recommend that you check out these tours in Boston.
