Italy, My Love

italy my love Italy, My LoveHave you ever discovered the beauty of Italy? If not, consider spending your vacation there.

Italy is one of the loveliest and unforgettable countries I have ever been to. Though I was there last summer, I’m still under the impression that it’s a fabulous place to be right now, for anyone.

The majority of Italian tours include Rome, Milan, Florence and Venice.

Rome:

When in Rome it is impossible not to notice a grand amphitheater — the Roman Coliseum. I have never seen such an impressive architectural work before. Don’t lose your opportunity  to visit the Sistine Chapel which is a real masterpiece. Consider visiting museums and galleries: Galleria Colonna, Musei Capitolini and Roman Civilizations Museum.  Visiting museums will help you to get acquainted with Italian culture.

Enjoy the sights of Rome, its Gothic and Baroque architecture, monuments and beautiful squares such as Piazza Navona and Piazza del Campidoglio.

Milan:

And now we turn to Milan, a beautiful city with stylish buildings. Once you are in Milan, I would strongly recommend you to visit  Piazza del Duomo  which is a marvelous cathedral. Also visit La Scala  theater and the Gothic church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. It won’t be a bad idea to visit the Italian museum of cinema collections, which is quite interesting.

Florence:

Florence is an enchanting city with many museums and galleries. It’s considered one of the richest centers of Renaissance art. When in Florence, visit marvelous art galleries such as Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Pitti. Also don’t miss your chance to go to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Florence is a place where you can stroll down the streets gazing at amazing Renaissance-era buildings.

Venice:

Venice is a breathtaking city with narrow streets, lots of canals and charming squares. Once you are in Venice, Piazza San Marco is what you should see first. This  main square of Venice is a piece of art. Its buildings represent styles of both of Byzantine and Romanesque architecture.  When in Venice, don’t lose the opportunity of taking a ride on a gondola. What can be more romantic than sitting in a gondola and watching the city by waterway?

In conclusion I would like to add that Italian people are very friendly. As for Italian cuisine, I consider it one of the most delicious, especially the pasta.

After all, I don’t think you’ll hesitate to visit charming Italy!
