There are many instances in life when, because of a lack of finances, a couple has to decide between the following options: either a wedding party or a honeymoon trip.
In case you are for the second option I can suggest one destination–Venice, Italy. The city will prove to be a perfect honeymoon destination for just-married couples.
There is much to see in Venice, like numerous churches, museums, palaces and art galleries for newly weds to visit. They can walk in Saint Marco Square, feed the pigeons hovering over it. And they can visit the Church of San Simeon Picollo, Museo Archeologico, Dodge’s palace, the Church of San Stae and The Basilica di San Marco.
New married couples can take part in sailing travel in Venice. Riding a gondola and sailing along the Grand Canal can be really amazing. On the way they can admire magnificent palaces, churches, gardens, warehouses and arch bridges, such as the Bridge of Sighs and Rialto bridge.
It would be a good idea to sail to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is famous for its glassware, and couples can witness a glass-blowing display. They can see colorful fishermen’s houses on the island Burano, visit the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and see the excavated remains of the circular baptistery in Santa Fosca church on Torcello island.
Since staying at a hotel in Venice cost high sums of money, couples can rent a house or stay in a nearby city hotel.
Honeymoon sailing travel to Venice will prove to be a memorable and romantic experience for all just-married couples.
