Madame Tusaud’s World Famous Wax Museums
When hearing about wax museums the first thing that comes to mind is the popular wax museum in London founded by Madame Tusaud. Though I myself have never been there, I’ve heard a lot about its incredible wax statues of celebrities. Everyone who goes there is simply amazed at the likeness of the figures to the real people.
As one of the most famous museums in the world, Madame Tusaud’s Wax Museum seems to have an advantage over other types. It’s one of the most visited museums because of its exhibitions of the world’s famous personalities.
There are wax representations of popular cultural figures such as Shakespeare, Charlie Chaplin, Princess Diana and others. Depicted political leaders include Napoleon I, Benjamin Franklin, Mahatma Gandhi and so on, and stars include Muhammad Ali, David Beckham, Jackie Chan, Brad Pitt, The Beatles, Madonna, Beyonc and many others. The interesting thing is that you can find wax figures of infamous personalities as well, like Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler.
Madame Tusaud’s Wax Museums have opened in many other cities around the world. The most famous among them are those opened in the United States, located in Las Vegas, New York and Hollywood.
In the Las Vegas and New York museums, unlike those in London and Hollywood, visitors can touch and feel the incredible works of art and pose for a photo next to their favorite stars.
If you have a chance to visit one of these wax museums, don’t miss out.
