Following the footsteps of Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, Lebanese designer Elie Saab is set to design a luxurious boutique hotel in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. However, unlike Pitt, Saab will design only the interior of the hotel, which will include 89 suites and 14 bungalows along with a 10,000 sq. ft. swimming pool.
AHN reports that Saab, together with Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, will develop signature hotels in the region, starting off with an exclusive hotel overlooking the world’s first Tiger Woods-designed golf course.
Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab has announced that he will be designing a 360,000 sq. ft. hotel in The Tiger Woods Dubai that will bear his name and style.
According to Fashion Week Daily Dispatch, located over an area of 55 million sq. ft., The Tiger Woods Dubai is taking shape as an exclusive golf community encompassing a professionally-staffed golf academy; a 139,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with premium amenities; a high-end destination spa; 22 palaces; 75 mansions, and 100 luxury villas and community service facilities.
Saab is quoted commenting on the design of the hotel.
“Every detail of the hotel’s interiors will reflect my signature element that is defined by a fusion of simplicity, luxury and modernism to create a dreamlike ambience,” Saab said.
