Wrecked Military Plane In Indonesia

Wrecked Military Plane In Indonesia Wrecked Military Plane In IndonesiaMany planes have crashed of late, and the reason for most is bad weather conditions or technical problems although the cause of some accidents is still not known.

Such an incident occurred last week in Indonesia. A military plane flying from Jakarta to Bogor in West Java crashed in a forest. Twelve military personnel and six civilians on board, including a Briton, Singaporean and Indian, died.

Reuters reports that while the crash site has been identified, no close examination is possible because of bad weather.

“Our pilot had checked the location, and he saw the debris from afar,” air Marshal Gusti Made Oka, the deputy air force chief said.

According to The Epoch Times, the plane had set out to test a digital mapping camera. Indonesian planes have recently been involved in several crashes and safety incidents, so the country’s airlines are currently banned by the European Union.
