California is perhaps the main state in the US that is considerably affected by the pollution problem. And almost all the cities in California are controlled by local waste management.

Orange County can be named “the clean center” of California. Orange County Waste Management has worked out a program for its cities concerning trash collection and recycling. Every city in Orange county can enter the program. Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Tustin, Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach are the cities that have already joined it. All these cities are now provided with everything needed to realize waste collection.

What do I mean by saying everything needed? I mean motor vehicles and robots that collect trash automatically. Besides these machines, all the inhabitants that support the program are given appropriate containers for trash. The only thing residents need to do is to arrange the trash into the containers. Containers have different colors, and each one has its kind of trash to be filled with. This is the most important thing that citizens should do: arrange the trash correctly.

If your city has a recycling program, you are also given a recycling cart. And all the things that are to be recycled are put in the cart without any packages. Orange county is known for its modern ways of recycling: Huntington Beach recycling, Costa Mesa recycling and Anaheim waste recycling are well-known programs. Those cities give great importance to recycling.

If California, Orange County in particular, goes on like this, in a dozen years it’ll not only be the cleanest state of the US, but also the cleanest place in the world. Let’s at least hope so.
