Thousands of women and men on this planet decide to make a marriage proposal, do it, but fail to reach the desired effect — not in the sense of a rejection, but in the sense of not managing to create one of the most unforgettable moments of their lives.
The mistake of many men (or women, if they are the one who wants to propose) is that they don’t actually plan it very thoroughly. One of the most standard scenarios of a proposal is on vacation shores.
The choice of the place that you’re going to make the proposal is essential — it should be a place with all the necessary, so called “accommodations,” which will help you to make the dream proposal come true. So wherever it is, on a Bora Bora beach or at a Miami resort, the main thing is to plan your actions beforehand, otherwise every trifle can ruin his/her decision.
Here are some ideas for the best vacation proposals.
1. If you plan to stay in one of several beachfront hotels and reserve a room which is right above the beach, you can write the magical “Marry Me” right on the sand, so as it’s seen from the window, or better the balcony. For the night version, create the word with candles. Don’t forget to check the weather report — rain can ruin everything.
2. During a walk on the beach, let her find a bottle with a message in it, saying “Marry Me.” You can also put the ring inside the bottle, but there is one rule — keep it somewhere safe. The loss of the ring is the worst thing that can happen, if someone accidentally finds the bottle before her/him.
3. (For men only) At luxury beach hotels, you can ask the management staff to custom decorate your room, while you’re both out for a walk. In the evening when you come back, let the room be flooded with roses and candle light. When she sees that, make her sit on the bed, get down on your knees and propose.
